Here is what I started with - a Van Camp and a Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett Co. head in VERY rough condition

This is after they were sanded and profiled

Forced patina

Laying out the handles on a hiclkory blank

Blanks cut and eyes drawn to be shaped

Drawknife shavings while shaping handles

Handles after they are profiled and sanded smooth

A little stain job

Hung and hand rubbed with multiple coats of boiled linseed oil

Making the leather sheath

Solid brass burr rivets and soild brass Sam Browne stud with full welt

The final products!!!!
